Location
Soneva Gili by Six Senses and is located on the private tropical island of Lankanfushi in the North Male’ atoll, Republic of Maldives. The tiny coral island, located at 4° 17’N of 30° 55’E, is set within one of 19 atolls that
stretch across 800 kilometres of the Indian Ocean and one of the 1,190 islands that make up the Maldives.
Soneva Gili, the first all over-water villa resort in the Maldives, is easily accessible by a 20-minute speedboat ride from Male’ International Airport in the Male’ atoll.

Accommodation
The 45 over-sized water villa suites and residences that have all the luxuries one would expect from one of the world’s most exclusive resorts. Each suite and residence has been designed and constructed with the utmost attention to detail to ensure the total comfort of our guests. Each is located more than twenty metres from the next to ensure total privacy.

* Soneva Gili Private Reserve (1,400 sqm) - The ultimate retreat is the Private Reserve, which unfolds over 1,400 square metres, with five separate buildings including two master suites plus guest accommodation, a private spa with steam room, sauna, massage pavilion, gymnasium and extensive lounging areas.

* Spa Suite - Spa Suites are an option with all villa categories. Spa Suites offer an air-conditioned couples treatment room and an outside garden area with three separate showers (blitz, rain and power shower) and a four square metre steam room. There is a private air-conditioned gym area and a wonderful relaxation area with daybed and planter’s chairs. The Spa Suite attract an additional charge. Note that the rates quoted are on a room only basis inclusive of bed tax per room, per night for single or double occupancy in US$ and are subject to 10% service charge. Above room rates are also to a 2% carbon offset contribution. The contribution is to the Six Senses Carbon Offset Fund that will be engaged with Converging World to fund a project entitled ‘Wind Turbine and Community Development Project in India, through the provision of a grant to establish a wind turbine on a pilot site. Soneva Gili Residence (250 sqm) - 8 water residences secluded for privacy, with king-sized bed in an air-conditioned bedroom, large living room with seating arrangements and daybeds.

Soneva Gili Crusoe Residence

Soneva Gili Crusoe Residence (250 sqm) - 7 water residences stand side by side, 30 metres apart in the lagoon, majestically looking out beyond the coral reef to the open sea. Each has its own private rowing boat or electrically operated pontoon boat for traveling between the residence and the jetty. Each has the same facilities as the Soneva Gili Residence.
