Welcome to Medhufushi, a naturally quiet, serene, authentic Maldivian island. After a short seaplane journey, step onto the white sandy beaches, which are surrounded by a crystal clear lagoon. Our staff are here to tend to your every need and we are confident that after your stay you will take away memories of a truly tropical paradise.
Location
The resort is located in the unspoilt Meemu Atoll some 40 Minutes by sea plane (plus 15 minutes by boat) south of Malé airport. The island is 890m in length and 105m in width and the distance between the airport to the island is 128.7 kilometers.
Dining
Medhufushi Island Resort is famous for its exquisite range of culinary delights which can be described as unpretentious, diverse and creative.
Accommodation
105 appropriately finished well appointed rooms (thatched roof villas) scattered around the islands, some built partly over the crystal water of the lagoon. All air conditioned and have ceiling fan and heated desalinated water in the bathrooms.
44 Beach Villas have king size or twin beds, sofa, hairdryer, satellite tv, direct dail telephone and a timber deck and part open air bathroom with W.C bathtub and outdoor showers.
8 Beach Villa Suites have mini bar hairdryer, satellite tv , direct dial , 02 bed rooms, one with king size and one with twin bed, a suiting area, a Maldivian swing, a poach and part open air bathroom with a bathtub and open air showers.
7 Family Villas are similar to the Villa Suites but have no sitting area (adjoining doors).
40 Water Villas are built on stilts over the crystal clear water of the lagoon. They are detached and have mini bar, hairdryer, satellite tv direct telephone private wooden deck area with chairs and a Maldivian Swing.
4 Water Villas Suites are built stilt over the crystal clear of the lagoon each has 2 bedrooms one with king size bed and one with twin beds 2 bathrooms with bathtubs w.c private wooden deck area with chairs sun beds and a Maldivian swing.
02 Honeymoon Water Villas are built on stilts over the crystal clear water of the lagoon. Each has king size bed, bathroom with jacuzzi w.c wooden deck area with chairs. These two villas are built in the water with no jetty. A smalll boat (dingy) will be at the clients deposit at all times. |

Beach Villa
44 Villas (65 sqm) scattered around the island, facing the beach. It includes four Poster King size Bed or Twin Beds, an outdoor Rain shower, a Private Outdoor Veranda, Sun Loungers and a Maldivian Style Swing.

16 Villas (178 sqm) that are built to face the beach with ocean view. Two Beach Villas joined with an outdoor seating area. Bath Tub, Outdoor Rain Shower, Private Outdoor Veranda, Maldivian Style Swing and Sun Loungers are included.

Water Villas
44 Villas (60 sqm). Built on stilts out in the lagoon, facing a sunrise or the sunset, glass fronted bedrooms allows a spectacular view of the ocean. Includes King Size or Twin Beds, Separate Bathtub and walk-in shower, a Private Outdoor Veranda and Large patio with steps leading down to the sea. In addition to these, Maldivian Style Swing and Sun Loungers are included.
